All That Stuff That Happens Before the Debates

From podium placement to timing of the debates, everything is negotiated and candidates prepare, often to their benefit.    Using examples from the 1960 Kennedy Nixon debate and the 1976 Carter Ford debate, we talk about debate negotiations and prep on this podcast. What happened to the League of Women Voters?  Would debates have happened without Gerald Ford?   Are we seeing real candidates, or ultra prepped up fakers?  We address these questions.   From 2012 but a goodie and always applicable.
